Zimplats Mhondoro-Ngezi Chegutu Zvimba Community share ownership Trust Zimplats and the then Minister of Indigenisation and Economic Empowerment agreed to establish the Zimplats Mhondoro-Ngezi Chegutu Zvimba Community share ownership Trust (ZMNCZ CSOT) as a trust of public character for charitable purposes in December 2011. Zimplats injected the founding amount of USD10 million to fund the objects of the Trust as per section 5 of the Trust Deed which are social and community development initiatives.
ZMNCZ CSOT seeks a community of hope, social and economic justice, where poverty is being overcome and people live in dignity and security from their natural resources. We will be known for our unshakeable commitment to the dignity and socio economic development of the people.
ZMNCZ CSOT mission is to serve communities drawing strength from diverse natural
resources and experience, promote innovative socio-economic development solutions
